The size difference is the quickest way to see it. MOTS-c is 2,174.6 g/mol. 5-Amino-1MQ is 159.21, roughly a fourteenth of that, and most peptides in this catalogue run from 300 to over 4,000. These are not the same kind of object filed under one heading.
Both purity figures came from HPLC, which covers identity and purity of the tested lot. It does not measure sterility, endotoxin or heavy metals. We hold each report and send it on request.
SLU-PP-332 ships as tablets, and that changes what you need to buy
Two practical consequences that get missed when a small molecule is filed alongside vials.
There is nothing to reconstitute. No diluent, no bacteriostatic water, no volume calculation. If you're ordering this on its own, you don't need anything from reconstitution supplies.

MOTS-c is the mitochondrial one
MOTS-c is a 16-residue peptide encoded in mitochondrial DNA rather than the nuclear genome, which makes it a genuinely different class from most of what this site stocks. A 2023 review in the Journal of Translational Medicine covers its study in stress, metabolism and ageing.1
That's a review of a research literature. It isn't a finding about a vial, and we're not turning it into one.
Worth noting: `mots-c canada` measures no Canadian search demand at all. If you're looking for this compound you almost certainly arrived by name, which is why the identity data above is on the page rather than buried.
Regulatory status in Canada
Health Canada regulates injectable peptides as drugs and has stated in writing that labelling one "for research use only" doesn't remove it from that regulation.2 Everything on this page is supplied for laboratory research use only, and nothing here is approved for human or veterinary use.
The two small molecules are not injectable peptides, so that specific wording does not describe them, but they are equally unapproved and equally research-only. We publish no dosing.

Are these peptides? One of the three. MOTS-c is a 16-residue peptide. SLU-PP-332 and 5-Amino-1MQ are synthetic small molecules, roughly an eighth and a fourteenth of its molecular weight, and they sit here because that's the category buyers look in.
Which have a certificate of analysis? Two. MOTS-c at 99.29% and SLU-PP-332 at 99.40%, both with Medutest, both with the batch named. 5-Amino-1MQ has none.
Do I need bacteriostatic water for SLU-PP-332? No. It's an oral tablet. There's nothing to reconstitute and the reconstitution arithmetic doesn't apply to it.
Can I buy 5-Amino-1MQ? Not at present. It has no price and it's out of stock.
