Terms and conditions

These terms apply to any order placed on this site.

These terms are an agreement between you and Boreal Peptides, the operator of borealpeptides.com, referred to below as “we” and “us”. We operate from West Vancouver, British Columbia, and sell online only.

By placing an order you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not order.

Everything we sell is supplied for laboratory research use only. Nothing is approved for use in a human being or an animal, and nothing here is a drug, a supplement, a food, a cosmetic or a medical device.

This is not a formality buried in a footer. It is the condition of sale, it applies to every product without exception, and the full statement is on our research use disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.

If any part of this page appears to contradict that disclaimer, the disclaimer wins.

To order you must:

• Be at least the minimum age set out on our age verification page.
• Be ordering for laboratory research purposes, and not for use in a person or an animal.
• Be legally permitted to receive these materials where you live, which is your responsibility to establish, not ours.
• Give accurate account and delivery details.

We may refuse or cancel any order, before or after it is placed. We do not have to give a reason, and the most likely reasons are that we doubt the stated purpose, that we cannot lawfully ship to you, or that the order looks fraudulent. If we cancel a paid order you get a full refund.

We describe what we hold as accurately as we can, and we say what we do not have.

17 of our 31 products carry a third-party purity certificate, and each of those pages names the testing laboratory and the batch. 14 do not, and each of those pages says “not tested” in those words. A purity assay covers identity and purity in the sample tested. It does not cover sterility, endotoxin, heavy metals or safety, and none of our products is supplied sterile.

Photographs and rendered product images are representative. Vial appearance, cap colour and fill can vary between batches without the contents changing.

We correct published figures when we find them wrong, and we have. Where a certificate does not support a stronger claim, the product page says so instead of making the claim.

All prices on this site are in Canadian dollars (CAD). Prices are shown per vial or per unit as stated on the product page, and exclude shipping.

We can change prices at any time. The price that applies to your order is the price displayed when you place it. If a price is obviously wrong, for example through a technical fault, we may cancel the order and refund you rather than honour it, and we will tell you why.

Prices are shown in Canadian dollars and no sales tax is added at checkout. Tax calculation is currently switched off on this store.

Adding an item to the cart is not an order. Completing checkout is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we accept your order, which we do by dispatching it, not by sending an automatic order-received email.

Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance in itself, and stock shown as available can sell out between your order and our acceptance.

We accept Interac e-Transfer and cash on delivery. We do not take card payments, so card details are never entered on this site and we hold none. An order stays on hold until the payment reaches us.

Whatever we use, card details go to the payment provider and never reach us. We do not see, store or process card numbers. Payment is taken in Canadian dollars.

Delivery terms, destinations and timings are on our shipping and delivery page, which forms part of these terms.

Risk passes to you on delivery. Title passes when we have received payment in full.

You are responsible for giving a delivery address where the parcel can be received. We are not responsible for a parcel that is refused, undeliverable or seized because of what you told us, or because of rules that apply where you are.

You must not:

• Use, or allow anyone to use, any product on a human being or an animal.
• Resell, redistribute or repackage anything bought here.
• Represent any product as approved, licensed, therapeutic, or fit for human use.
• Present our testing results as something they are not, including implying a purity figure means sterility or safety.
• Order on behalf of someone who could not order themselves under these terms.

The text, photography, product data and layout on this site belong to us, and we spent real work on them. You may read, share links to, and quote short passages with attribution. You may not copy the product descriptions, the testing tables or the page structure onto another store.

We try to keep the site available and accurate, and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free.

We are responsible for supplying what you ordered, in the condition described, and for correcting our own errors.

We are not responsible for what you do with it. These materials are sold for laboratory research, and the conditions, competence and legality of that work are yours. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude liability for any loss arising from use of a product in a person or an animal, for any use outside laboratory research, and for indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for that order.

You agree to cover us for claims, losses and reasonable costs that arise from your breach of these terms, from your use of a product in a person or an animal, or from your breach of the law where you are.

How we handle your information is set out in our privacy policy and cookie policy, both of which form part of these terms.

We can change these terms. The version that applies to your order is the version published when you placed it. If a change is material we will change the date at the top and say what changed, rather than editing quietly.

These terms are governed by the law of British Columbia and the federal law of Canada that applies there, and any dispute goes to the courts of British Columbia. That is where we operate from.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
